Considering the Future of Web Frameworks
Abstract
As web frameworks mature, and new ones no longer pop into existence in the Python world with quite the ferocity they have in the past, it seems an appropriate time to review web frameworks. Where have they been? Where are they now? Where are they going? Along the way this talk will dive into the various aspects that make up a web framework, their components, the concepts they share, and the parts that differ. Eventually ending up with a few possible paths into the future of Python web framework development. If you’ve ever wanted to learn the underlying aspects behind web frameworks, this is probably the talk for you.
